Celts Central
Privacy
This notice explains the limited information processed when you visit Celts Central or contact the editorial team.
First-party analytics
Audience analytics runs only after you allow it. We collect page paths without query strings, a randomly generated pseudonymous visitor identifier, broad first-visit cohort and return-visit signals, newsletter or waitlist intent, and optional article-quality feedback. This helps us understand which coverage is useful and whether there is genuine interest in future reader-supported options.
We do not collect IP addresses, precise location, user-agent strings, device fingerprints or advertising identifiers in this analytics system. We do not use it for cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising. Raw events and pseudonymous visitor records are restricted to server-side service access and retained for up to 90 days. Aggregate reporting is retained for up to 25 months.
Newsletter and membership interest
If you explicitly register interest, we store your email address, selected topic, consent time and source page. Membership pricing is still being researched; registering interest is not a purchase, a paywall enrolment or a commitment to any price. Interest records are not public. Withdrawn or declined records are deleted within 30 days.
You can withdraw an interest registration by emailing editor@celtscentral.com.
External media
Embedded media is loaded only through its official provider. Those providers may process data under their own privacy terms. Where practical, media uses a click-to-load consent step.
Hosting and security logs
Our hosting provider may process limited request and security logs independently to deliver and protect the site. Those operational logs are separate from the optional first-party analytics described above. Do not send sensitive personal information by email.
